We’ve got a great line up of customer presenters who will wow you with their work using
Nuke and
Mari. We will also have a special session dedicated to
Storm and new developments for 2011 from The Foundry.
This GeekFest will run over three sessions. Feel free to register for 1, 2 or all 3 session!! See below for details…
| SESSION 1: NUKE & OCULA |

| We’ve got two fantastic guest presenters to show us how they’ve been putting NUKE through it’s paces in the real world of production. Abishek Nair, Compositor from ILM Singapore will show us their work on Iron Man II & Chris Bremble, VFX Supervisor|CEO from Base FX will take us through their Emmy Award Winning work on HBO’s Pacific.
Our very own Matt Plec will then show off ourOCULA toolset – used to help correct stereo issues on Avatar and Tron: Legacy – before providing a sneak peek at the NUKE Product Roadmap and a look at Nukepedia.
There will also be a Q&A session with guest speakers and The Foundry staff

| SESSION 2: MARI |
|
| Micheal Cox, Texture Technical Supervisor from Weta Digital – where MARI was originally developed – will show us how they used displacement maps onAvatar.
The Foundry’s Nathalie Bergeron and Matt Plec will the show you all that’s new and coming soon to MARI.
A Q&A session with guest speakers and The Foundry staff will follow the presentations |

| SESSION 3: STORM PLUS MORE!! |
|
| STORM is brand new product from The Foundry and Nathalie Bergeron will show you what all the fuss is about. If you work with RED camera footage then this is the session for you.
Bruno Nicoletti, The Foundry’s legendary CTO, will then let you in on some internal GPU magic being developed internally as well as Katana.
The Q&A session will be followed by drinks and nibbled until 8pm in room 317 A | B |
